Thomas Cook Airlines' Summer Programme Gets Underway At Cardiff

Thomas Cook Airlines' summer programme gets underway at CardiffWelsh travellers will shortly be able to take advantage of Thomas Cook Airlines' new flight schedule at Cardiff International Airport.

The hub announced today (Wednesday, April 30th) that the "finishing touches" have been added to Thomas Cook Airlines' flight programme, which will see one Airbus A321 aircraft being based at the airport.

With its new schedule due to commence tomorrow (Thursday, May 1st), the airline is anticipating that it will handle around 39,000 passengers over the summer period.

Frank Pullman, managing director of Thomas Cook Airlines, commented: "We took the decision to base an aircraft at Cardiff International Airport this summer due to popularity of and the demand for the flights that we offer.

"Everyone at the airline has worked incredibly hard in preparation for the summer season, so we are looking forward to serving Wales."

Passengers can fly to a total of 22 destinations from Cardiff International Airport, including Alicante and Sharm el Sheikh in Egypt.
