Virgin Atlantic Adds Second Daily Heathrow-Washington Service

Users of London Heathrow Airport are set to benefit from the introduction of a second daily Virgin Atlantic service to Washington, which will be launched on April 20th.
The service will operate until October 25th 2008 and adds to the existing daily service to Washington Dulles International Airport, which was launched by the airline in June 1996.
Steve Ridgway, chief executive of Virgin Atlantic, said that the additional service would offer passengers "more choice and flexibility to Washington this summer".
He commented: "This new service gives Virgin Atlantic passengers the best possible choice in flight times. They can choose the existing morning departure from Heathrow to Washington, or wait until the late afternoon to leave London.
"On the return, the late evening departure from Washington will suit those who wish to have dinner in the Capital before heading back on an overnight flight to London."
