Budget carrier Wizz Air has announced it is to launch a new service between the Ukraine and Norway.
The route, between Kiev and Oslo Torp Airport, will begin flying on January 5th 2009 and is the first to link the two countries.
The airline, which flies to and from a number of UK airport including Robin Hood Airport (Doncaster-Sheffield),
Natasa Kazmer, director of the Board of Wizz Air Ukraine, said: "We are pleased to announce another low cost route linking Ukraine with other parts of Europe.
"The new KievOslo Torp route not only will be the first ever low cost route between Ukraine and Norway but also the only air link as currently there are no flights available between the two countries."
Wizz Air is a low-cost Polish airline which launched it first flight in June 2003 from Katowice. It now has eight operational bases and flies to over 50 destinations across Europe.
