Meet & Greet: New Location and Access

Bristol Airport Meet & Greet Parking. New Drop-off & Pick-up Car Park At the end of July 2025, Bristol Airport made some important changes to the drop-off/pick-up location for meet and greet operators. Meet and Greet vehicle collection and return is now from the new Drop Off & Pick Up Car Park - all part of Bristol Airport’s newly opened Transport Interchange.

This guide explains how the new system works and what to expect, helping you meet your driver smoothly and without stress.

Follow signs to Bristol Airport from all major roads. On approach, select the right-hand lane and follow the pink signs to the Drop Off & Pick Up Car Park.

This car park replaces the former Drop & Go area and is now the only official location close to the terminal for passenger drop-offs, pick-ups, and Meet & Greet handovers.

Please note that Meet and Greet providers do not accept vehicles over 2.5m high, long-wheelbase vans, minibuses with more than eight seats and commercial vans. (Sometimes Park and Ride car parks, such as Oakwood Parking, can accept short-wheelbase vans, but please call Park and Go customer service or send an email request before making the booking, so we can check the availability).

There is flat-level access to the Bristol Airport Terminal via the new covered walkway, perfect for travellers with luggage, children, or mobility issues.

Please note that the parking bays closer to the Terminal are reserved for disabled passengers only.

Call the mobile number provided on your confirmation email approximately 20 minutes before getting to Bristol Airport to confirm your arrival time. Once you arrive at the Drop Off & Pick Up Car Park, the driver will see your car (that’s why we ask for car make, model and colour, along with the registration number – and the car details amendments are free of charge!) and identify themselves to you. If you cannot see your Meet and Greet driver immediately, simply park at any available parking bay and call your Meet and Greet provider on the telephone shown on your confirmation email. Bristol airport drop off zone is fairly large, so there will normally be parking spaces available. (If needed, drive past the terminal and turn right to locate further bays).

If your Meet and Greet provider’s T&Cs require you to pay the access fee on arrival, please ensure you bring the exact amount in cash (it’s easier), as drivers may not carry change and it could cause the delays - the exit fee for using the Drop Off & Pick Up Car Park for up to 10 minutes is currently £7.00.

Strict airport rules limit waiting time in Drop Off & Pick Up Car Park for 10 minutes; if exceeded, additional charges will apply and must be paid by you.

Upon return, a driver will bring your car and will meet you in the same Drop Off & Pick Up Car Park. If there are no other people waiting this could take as little as 5-7 minutes – so please call the driver on the mobile number provided on your confirmation email only once you have collected your luggage and cleared customs to avoid exceeding the 10 minutes limit.

When your car is returned, please inspect it while the driver handing the keys over – it’s extremely rare that there are any concerns, but any issues need to be raised immediately with the driver (taking photos is always a good idea).

Once the handover is complete, simply drive to the exit. The £7.00 exit payment at the barrier can be done by bank card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.

Blue badge holders can receive up to 40 minutes parking for a reduced fee of £7.00. Simply drive up to the exit barrier and scan the barcode on the reverse of the blue badge. A help button is available on all exit barriers if needed.

With this new system, Bristol Airport has streamlined Meet & Greet handovers to make them quicker and easier for passengers, with improved access and facilities.
