Dropped the car at the gate and was taken straight to the airport. On return we were picked up within a few minutes and taken to the parking where the car was waiting at the gate. Altogether a positive experience.

Oakwood Parking, not easy to spot from the main road (in the dark), signage could be lit up. However I couldn't fault them. Yes it's a field with hard standing, that you park your car in. Good service, very reasonably priced, didn't wait around long for the transfer bus (coming or going), only 3 minutes to Bristol airport. Car was parked at the front when we returned, ready to go.

We have successfully parked with you 4 times this year with no complaints. However, on our 5th visit from 1/7/22 to 9/7/22 the experience was far from great. Having travelled on a late flight we were greeted by your staff member who told us that he didn't know where our car was as we 'weren't due in until the 9th and it is only the 8th' . This was the same for 2 other people who were also waiting to collect their cars. As our flight was due at midnight we had all booked our cars in until the 9th. He spent ages looking through the keys for both the 8th and 9th, in fact he looked through them about 4/5 times. Eventually after he said he would 'have to call one of the boys' to find our cars, our keys were spotted, I guess where they should be. His attitude left a lot to be desired and no apology was offered when all 3 car keys were eventually found. All in all we were 45 minutes delayed.

Sadly things did not go well with the booking. When we arrived Oakwood had no record of the booking. I understand that these things can happen, but they could improve how they handle these situations and have a bit more customer focus. It was clearly not our fault, we had the paperwork, but it didn't appear on the system, they were trying all possible booking references in a bid to find it, but at no point offered reassurance that we would be able to park. At this point we were really worried we would not be able to park, and it was taking a long time. (We had loaded our bags on the minibus as instructed, but had to take them off, because that bus was leaving) In the end they decided to book us in again and asked us to pay. It would have been nice if they said don't worry, we will get you booked in and we will sort out the paperwork while you are away. The man on the desk was a bit grumpy, I am not sure he should be working in a customer facing job role. The return was better, we were late back due to a flight cancellation, but the girl on the desk found the booking, car keys etc, billed us the extra charge. A much friendlier service. The car was very dirty, they did offer to pressure wash the main of it off though which did help.

Oakwood Parking was a good choice for us, only downside was arriving back to collect car and it was blocked in. Not ideal at 2am and it was covered in dust...again not a huge deal given the savings on actual on site car park prices ! Would use again and hopefully return to an unblocked car !
