Reviewed on 22nd March 2025Used this car park several times over the years due Park and Go efficiency and cost effectiveness. Vehicle is normally ready for collection with engine running. My wife and I used the company in January this year and again engine running as usual, however driver’s footwell and sill was white with road stone mud, which only became evident in daylight next day. I again used the company 9th to 20th March unaccompanied, unfortunately on this occasion when ringing the first mobile number listed message stated the number was out of service. I then rang the landline number and could not understand what the responder was saying and they disconnected the line. Two minutes later the van arrived and the driver questioned if I was booked with Hunters and asked if I had telephoned informing of my return because I was not on his list , also there were two girls who he was unaware of and the minibus was full. My flight had a delayed departure of 15 minutes due to outward flight headwinds, however, the landing time was 25 minutes earlier due to being caught in the same winds increasing inward flight speed. I expected the company to be aware as they had logged my return flight time on the vehicle key fob. When we arrived at the car park site my vehicle was still locked and covered in white dust clearly from the same road stone which must have been blowing about the car park. I entered the office and the minibus driver having unloaded the other passengers bags followed me in and gave my vehicle key which was still on the desk. He apologised, which was accepted, however, I, my wife are booked again for Easter break with our twelve years old niece due to arrive back in the UK at 23:55 and would not be pleased if we encountered the same reception.

Reviewed on 27th March 2023Over all great service, staff always helpful and polite. Only down side from my point of view is they could improve the drop off areas as when you unload your luggage and wheel it to your car it’s through muddy puddles etc. this then ends up in the boot and all over your luggage. Guess it’s worse in winter, but just a thought for consideration 👍

Reviewed on 29th July 2021The car park surface was poor but fortunately the weather was fine. The trip to the airport was quick and efficient, less than 20 mins. It took over 30 mins to collect us which wasn't good but in the current COVID environment not surprising.

Reviewed on 9th January 2019Parked here due to changing from meet and greet with the new charge at the airport. Car park was easy to find but not well made ground, not properly surfaced and lots of muddy puddles . Transfer to the airport was quick and efficient with friendly driver. Return transfer came quickly but driver didn’t utter a single word on arrival to pick up point or at any point from then on. Even opened back doors of bus and expected passengers to load their own bags into it. Due to the scruffy appearance of the car park and the behaviour of the return transfer driver I’m afraid I won’t be parking here again.

Reviewed on 14th September 2018The service is OK but there are two minus points; frstly it takes too long to travel between the car park and airport - this isn't helped by all the roadworks. Second issue, and this happens every time, is that the door sill will be muddy when you collect car, as will the driver footwell. Still, its safer than leaving the car at home.

Reviewed on 14th September 2018This used to be run by Shenton's and we had excellent service over the years. On this occasion we had a problem with being picked up at the Airport. We phoned and then waited for about 1/2 hour at the pick up point and then had to phone again to be told that there was an accident at Heald Green causing delays. We then had to phone again to try and find out when we were going to picked up as we were getting cold waiting, another 1/4 hour. Hunters had our mobile no. so I think they should have let us know there was a problem in the first place rather than having the customer keep ringing.

Reviewed on 2nd June 2018Pre-warning signs on roads of approaching car park entrance would help and at immediate entrance. Road into site could do with potholes etc sorting. Difficult to get out onto the main road on leaving. Service at and to/from airport very good.

Reviewed on 28th January 2018On arrival at the car park I wasn’t disappointed. We had looked at a couple of reviews and expected more spit and less polish. However all that glitters is not gold. Hunters is much more precious than gold, a diamond in the rough is my summary. We would recommend them to all and will definitely use them again.
