Callerton Parking OUTDOOR Reviews

Used Callerton parking for one week. Bit of a hoot really. Scruffy premises, scruffy mini-bus, scruffy everything really. But cheap and no problems. Used them before so no surprises there. Would use them again for my scruffy old Mondeo, but might think twice when I get the Aston Martin.

outward every thing was spot on.Return was the opposite,the service was not good.We had to wait till one bus did two trips.Being midnight with a small baby in the freezing cold to be told that there was only one person covering as it was there busiest day and other staff had gone home to sleep. Not good.

I have used Callerton Parking before and on this occasion was pleased with the service in relation to drop off of the vehicle and transfer both to and from the airport. However, on return to the vehicle following a delayed flight, I found it was very dirty with a lot of mud splattered up both sides and around wheels and wheel arches. there were lumps of mud on the bonnet, windscreen and even the roof. I also found muddy footprints on the door thresholds and in the driver's footwell and the pedals. It looked as if the car had been parked in and driven through a muddy field. This was disappointing especially as Callerton parking have car washing facilities on site.

the car park, company transport and drivers are not very smart, but they get you to and from the airport very efficiently which is what you want. no complaints.

I telephoned after I was thru security and the bus came 10 minutes later but had to wait as others had telephoned. They obviously were still waiting on their bags. The driver wanted to wait as it costs £1.00 tp drop off. I find that the charge by the airport to be over the top. However at 4.30 am waiting for others is somewhat tiring

On arrival everything seemed well organised. However, on return we waited in the area that we were to told to wait in. This apparently should have been ellaborated upon. We should have been told more specificly that there is a PRECISE area. Consequently we stood for a long time in damp fog at 4am waiting for a pick up that drove past us... After calling for a second time we were told that we weren't in the exact place of pick up. As we hadn't been told of this EXACT place of pick up this was quite annoying. It would seem that the boss's nephew hadn't quite grasped the "Customer Care" required on informing us of the collection point. Thankfully the mini bus was turned around on arrival to collect us and the driver enlightened us as to why the error had occured.

This is the first time that we have used the parking at Newcastle Airport and what a shock when we turned in to see the poorly hand painted "reception" sign. Also the lack of lighting was not good at 3.40 in the morning. Other than that it was ok, reception were very courtious and the driver was a gentleman who helped with the cases

Very quick and efficeint service though wasn't enough seats for 3 of us so my daughter had to sit on my knee!!

pleased with the service, but arrived 4 days late from egypt to be told I had to pay extra £20 CASH. This was due to the recent crisis, others did,nt charge.

long wait to go to airport 20mins.OK coming back.
