Reviewed on 16th January 2023This was the 2nd time I used Oakwood and it may be the last. I am particularly critical of their collection service from the Terminal. I was told on arrival I would be collected in 10mins but in effect this turned out to be 25mins, during which time I had no option but to stand in the wind and cold at the Bristol Airport drop off/collection zone. If a delay was inevitable, surely the best approach would have been to be truthful and tell the customer the bad news and then allow them the option of standing inside the Terminal building in such bad weather? I have a photo of the interior of my car, which shows the amount of mud that was on my car mats when I collected the car and I will post this directly on the Park and Go website. At the very least Oakwood should be protecting the interior with a simple paper cover if their parking environment is so very muddy, which it is.

Reviewed on 10th January 2023We came 27th December and ground muddy and had to wait 10 minutes + for a bus. Accept it was a Bank Holiday but you knew that. Not a good experience. I’m sure it’s better in the dry. Thought we would leave the car in a pick up area not a field. Price was good but experience poor. Same coming back. Had to wait over 10 minutes as only 1 transfer running and others behind us had to wait longer. You know the cars and flights. Plan better.

Reviewed on 30th December 2022On arrival service was good, on our return our experience was appalling Having to wait 40 minutes for our car to be made available due to being blocked in by 4 other cars in a very muddy area of the site resulting in my car needing to be pushed Having been stuck in mud.

Reviewed on 7th December 2022I arrived at the carpark at 11.30pm on Monday 5th December and had to look for my car in the dark and located it a fair bit into the empty car park but blocked by another car so had to go back to the office and tell the person on the desk who located the keys for the said vehicle and moved it and said that they car was expected at that morning at 10.30am but had not arrived back. No apology was given but l do think cars should be checked to make sure they are accessible for the owners when they return. The same thing happened to me the last time, my keys couldn't be located and also my car, ended up waiting a good 20 minutes for it to be found. I use your car park quite regularly and am disappointed by my last two visits. My car used to be moved to a location where it could easily be located.

Reviewed on 23rd November 2022Have used loads but we arrived 11.30 at night in Bristol airport and sent a minibus that clearly wasn’t big enough so waited 40 minutes needlessly. The driver did his best but it wasn’t good.

Reviewed on 19th October 2022Online booking was straightforward and the car park was easy to find. At reception they had trouble finding our booking at first but sorted pretty quickly then and then we were on shuttle bus to the airport shortly after. On our return we went to the pick up point and rang the car park. They informed us the shuttle bus would be there shortly which it was. The driver was rude and did not help anyone with their cases. On arrival at the car park we could not find out car and walked around for ages. Eventually someone came to help us. Our car hadn’t been moved and was blocked in by other cars so we had to wait for this to be sorted. Not great service. Wouldn’t use again

Reviewed on 8th October 2022Pro’s - prompt drop off from time of arrival at car park to airport. Cons - drivers smell of cigarettes. No assistance offered for women travelling alone with children to lift cases on/off mini bus. No assistance offered to those with disabled travelling companions/family. Waited for 45 mins for minibus pick up on return in early hours of morning - couldn’t get on first two and had to wait for them to return to the car park, offload and drive back again. Woman separated from her mum and young children. Young babies and children in the cold. Other passengers seen offering assistance with cases and to help a disabled lady off the coach. On arrival at car park, off to search for car in mud/puddles/dark. Seems like they accept bookings knowing they can’t deal with the volume of pick ups but not bothered that people have to stand around in middle of night in cold waiting for them.

Reviewed on 30th September 2022Dropping the car off was no problem but getting picked up was a nightmare. Lots of people had arrived at the same time and had obviously rang to let the driver know they were there but only one mini bus turned up. The driver asked people who couldn’t find seats to sit on the floor and one couple held a baby on their lap in the front seats leaving the baby’s parents to walk to pick their car up from the car park. The driver fiddled with his phone whilst driving as couldn’t get it to connect to the dated hands free device, and when we were dropped off hand to go looking for our car in the dark which was parked at the top of the car park. I’ve used this company for years and recommend it to friends who were with me on this holiday needless to say I don’t think they will be using this company again.
