Oakwood Parking Reviews

I have used Oakwood many times over the years but my return trip was somewhat manic. The poor driver was rushed off her feet. There was only one bus on at such a busy time (12 noon). My car was behind another car and l couldn’t get out causing me delay getting home. Hence my 3 star review. I am going away again in September and hope l can give a better review then.

We always park at Oakwood and been satisfied with the good value and its proximity to the airport. This time, however, on our transport back to pick up our car the minibus luggage area was dirty and our cases were covered with mud stains that we had to wash off when we got home. Also, when we picked the car up it was covered outside in pine needles, and inside the car were muddy footprints on the carpets and door sills.

Going there was fine except for going through Bristol city Centre. No problems. Coming back the bus driver was surly and un cooperative. I am 72 years of age and received the worst help possible. I am also disabled.

Drop off organisation was great and stress free. Pick up waa a little less pleasant. Only one bus running snd had to wait 20 mins as only bus pulled off as we got to car park unfortunately. No queuing arrangements so we were only one there when we just missed bus but then there were a lot more people waiting before bus arrived and he pulled the bus further down the parking area so we were running to ensure we got a space. Bus driver was not at all friendly in fact quite rude and abrupt which was not very nice. I understand his job is repetitive but I work in customer service and you need to put your ‘friendly face on’ even when you are not feeling it. Please accept this review in the constructive way it is meant. Thank you.

It was quite easy to find but disappointing to find the car in a very dirty state when we got back as we had it cleaned before we left and where the park was a gravel park the dust was all over the car so we had to have it valeted again The pick up by mini bus was fine and the drop off very little waiting about drivers were very friendly.

The service is great easy to book just turn up give your keys in jump in the mini bus 10 mins to the airport. However coming back give a ring they come and get you within 10-15 minutes, pick your keys up the get your car. The car park isn't made, very dusty loose stones the car was stinking with dust, we were unlucky really it was very windy dry day but would use again quite a reasonable price and efficient.

Hi when we arrived on Saturday morning our driver was fantastic, super happy and very very helpful. He was truly an unreal asset to your company. On our way back on Tuesday am we were spoken to horribly by a rude driver when we rang to say we were there. He was very unhelpful and actually said ( I have 2 rules no eating no drinking on the bus, I’m sure you can manage that !!!!). He was so rude and has definitely made me rethink using you again.

Only one minibus operating and lots of outward bound passengers meant we had a 25 minutes wait on the way out. Return journey excellent.

Cheaper than the airport official sites, but a little rough and ready.

Had to wait nearly 20 minutes in freezing cold on the way back and then found my car was boxed in in their car park. Not what you want when you want to get home at Xmas in the middle of the night.
