Reviewed on 30th May 2018Flying Scot Edinburgh do not seem to have learned by previous bad reviews. Our car was also not ready for our return after 24 hours travelling home. They couldn't find the car keys AND the car despite knowing our pick up time, clearly displayed on the ticket on the windscreen. No-one seemed to be in a rush to help us but finally after 48 minutes, keys were found and car located stuck behind four others. No apology was forthcoming just a simple sorry .... didn't feel that was good enough. Finally, after an hours wait we were able to continue our journey home. Terrible experience and in future will stick to Flying Scot Glasgow.

Reviewed on 31st May 2016Took approx 1 hour to contact by phone flying Scot, partly due to the number on the card apparently being obsolete. After a flight, one can do without that hassle. This is not the first time this same problem has happened.

Reviewed on 28th April 2016The man on the reception with the moustashe when we arrived, early morning, was anything but pleasant. On the return we were picked up alright but had to drag the cases over pebbles to the car in the rain and mud. The reception area quite frankly SMELLS.

Reviewed on 20th March 2016I will think twice before using them again. Firstly booking in was difficult as they had got my name wrong. Secondly I was given the wrong number to dial when arriving back. Thirdly, when I eventually got my car I was not given the number for the barrier, which meant I had to leave the car at the barrier and go back into the building to get the number, the man behind the counter said did I not give it to you, no you did not and I think a course on manners would help.

Reviewed on 31st October 2012The car mats were filthy car and the car was splash with mud, must have in a field somewhere. The car had cleaned the day before. Will not be using the flying scot at edinburgh again.

Reviewed on 2nd June 2012We arrived to the welcomne 'I hope you are in the wrong place'. When queried, the guy wanted more cash because we had a van and not a normal car (well a short VW transporter counts as a normal car anywhere else and fits into a normal car park!). So we had a number of arguments with them which was pretty stressful and were sent off that they would figure out what we had to pay until we came back. We told them that we wouldn't have come here as a taxi would have been cheaper. I threatened calling the police if there was a problem getting our car back - it wasn't the nicest experience to hand our car keys to these people without receipt! They blamed the booking site, while we fiercly protested that this was a problem for them to sort out, not us. If they wanted car type and measurement than we should have been asked when booking. The pick up was fine (different people) but being away worrying about this was an experience I could have done without - and it wasn't nice for the kids to experience this stress either when off to an exciting little holiday. Never again, it fits well into the overall horribleness of Edinburgh Airport parking and drop off management.

Reviewed on 26th April 2010I was stranded due to the volcano eruption in iceland. I was 1 week late and was charged more than the week i had booked. On the way back i had heard that most car parks were not charging. I will not use this company again
