5 Star Meet and Greet Reviews

We were early at the drop-off, when you have to drive 200 miles its hard to accurate. We had to wait 35 minutes for a driver to pick up our car. On return our car eventually turned up one hour and 40 minutes after the plane had landed. The driver blamed heavy traffic for the delay. Surely they were aware of heavy traffic. Where were they bringing the car from? It would have been far cheaper and quicker to use a car park + shuttle. I will never use this service again.

I am still waiting for a response about how to get replacement keys and locks after they had my keys and those of my brother and my sister's cars stolen in February. I have sent a number of emails and not one response!

I use this service regularly but sadly have to say that I am very disappointed as the drivers have no respect when told not to smoke in the car. This was the second occasion that this has happened. The driver who delivered the car was a smart alec when confronted on collection stating that "I don't smoke and I can not smell smoke in the car and its your coffee" He further added that I should have written a note on the collection document. Did not appreciate the rude, arrogant response. I shall look for alternative provider in the future even if it costs more money. I do not recommend the use of Meet and Greet. Certainly NOT 5 Star !

This was supposed to be Meet & Greet - but there was no meeting nor greeting. On the way there we had a phone call to check we were still on time. We said yes. We actually arrived 7 minutes early but had to wait until 20 minutes after the due time in the cold. All the while other companies drivers were milling around but no sign of ours. The return was just as poor - kept waiting 20 minutes. Note to self - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

These guys have always been late. I always call them to tell them that I have landed, and am on my way. They always tell me to call again after passport control and as I rarely have luggage to collect, I am at the car park in 2-3 mins and have to wait 10 mins or so. I can cope with that. This time I called as I landed - both numbers were switched off. I called again after passport control. Still off - so i left a voicemail. I called as I was getting into the lift to the car park, and someone answered. I explained that I had tried to call several times, and that I was almost at the collection point. I was told the driver would be there in 5 minutes. I got up to the collection point, and 15 minutes later, I called again to be told that the Driver is on his way - it'll be 5 minutes... 10 minutes later, the driver arrives. I ask why he is so late - dispatch had only called him 6-7 minutes ago that I was ready. Needless to say, I was not happy with this shoddy service and poor explanations. There are plenty of others offering this serivce at LHR, though most cost a little more. I think I will pay a few quid more to get a half decent service from now on.

Used these amateurs for the last time the last thing you want when you get back off holiday is a 40 minute wait and just before you arrive they ring you up to tell you that you have a puncture but don't worry they have put your space saver tyre on well let me tell you you don't expect your car to come back worse than it was when you left it & it's a ball ache looking around Heathrow for a tyre repair shop. Wont be using meet and greet ever.

Drop off: Arrived to car park 55mins after I called them. I was waiting in car park 30mins. On drop off: Waited 15 mins longer than told. Communication terrible - children in background when talking to operator. On drop off and pick up other meet and greet staff kept asking me who I was waiting for - it was that obvious I was there a long time!

We had to wait 30 minutes in the carpark for the car to be returned. When it arrived it was absolutely covered in bird droppings. The driver's seat was also wet, which I discovered after a few minutes of driving as my jeans were wet through. I phoned 5 Star and they offered me a free valet on my next booking with them. This is useless as I will not be using them again. The whole point of meet and greet is to have your car be promptly brought back to you in the condition you left it in. I had to have my car valeted on the way home from Heathrow and the bird droppings were so stuck on that it didn't all come off, and I was only away for the weekend!

Great service on the outbound trip No one answered the phone for 30 minutes on return so a frustrating and worrying time was incurred as well as a wasted half hour

Despite calling the office 20 minutes before my arrival and drop off my car, I was another 20 minutes outside the terminal which in my mind is completely unacceptable as I might as well have missed my flight. There was also a short wait upon my arrival back. I would hence not recommend their service if you are in any hurry what so ever, but then it looses the attraction as I might as well have driven with a chauffeur or even have taken the tube, but why then use their service. Chauffeur service would almost have cost the same but without the hassle and tube would have cost much less, but spending the same time on the journey.
