Reviewed on 4th October 2024Coming back to Oakwood was a shambles. Only 1 van driver with lots of planes arriving at the same time. I phoned as we were in the car park & was told we had to wait as van was full. Waited another 20 minutes for the only driver. When I got my car keys I was told my car was on the right after the parked mini-buses. Walked the car park for 5 minutes to suddenly see my car on the LEFT hand side. Not a good experience after a 4+ hour flight.

Reviewed on 1st October 2024Unfortunately I has to wait 40 minutes for the mini bus on my return, this has not been the case on previous visit when the wait has been about 5 minutes.

Reviewed on 29th September 2024The car must have been parked by a puddle as there was mud splashed on the passenger side and scratches on the front valance, not happy, minibuses are a bit tired and dusty.

Reviewed on 27th September 2024Okay but arrived back in the dark, car was further away than we were told and difficult to locate in the dark. Had to return to office and ask someone to come and find the car which they then did and brought it back to where minibus goes from.

Reviewed on 25th September 2024The position of the car park and the shuttle bus were perfect. Unfortunately the entrance does not drain well and there was ankle-deep water flooding across because of the exceptionally heavy rain. Also the person who parked my car did not allow for a weaker driver and I had to cross the flood extra times to get help to release the handbrake.

Reviewed on 23rd September 2024We have used Oakwood before and there have been no issues, so I’m a bit gutted to be writing this review. On arrival there was zero issues, the start to holiday had began so smoothly it was great! On return to the airport, we were left waiting almost 40 minutes to be collected. Our flight landed on time, so it’s not as if we were early (as then I would understand) - I phoned the number on the card you get given to be told the bus is on its way. 20 minutes later I phoned again to be told ‘I told you just now the bus is on its way’ but the journey takes 5 minutes so I was a little confused at this point. Anyway, the bus eventually arrived we got back got our keys found our car, luckily parked on completely flat ground and behind my dads car as when we opened the car and started putting our luggage in, we realised the handbrake hadn’t been put on! Thankfully my partner was quick to act and pulled it on before it went into my dad’s car.

Reviewed on 20th September 2024The drop off and pick up went smoothly and I have never left less than a 5-star review before but this time the car is so dirty I was really unhappy. There is red mud sprayed liberally from the front wheels across the front doors and even onto the back; the wheels are caked in mud as are the front wheel arches. I do not expect the guys to provide a valet service but if the cars are driven, fairly fast, through mud then they should be hosed down and returned in the state they were left in. I took photos but there is no option to upload them.

Reviewed on 19th September 2024Early arrival 4am in the rain, no cover left outside until car checked in not much lighting wife left in dark carpark wih cases while i checked in.. Buses to airport need updating and cleaning out.. On return clearly very busy had to wait for another bus as more than 30 people were also waiting.. Easy collection when you eventually find your car as it could be anywhere as it gets moved, and nobody takes you to it.. Used this parking a few times but has gradually got worse totally un organised not really a good way to start or end your holiday.. Sorry for the negatives but you really need to step up and invest some money into the service you are supposed to be providing.

Reviewed on 18th September 2024You get what you pay for. We've never had an issue with our car before being parked here but the staff could do with being more patient, helpful and polite as can come across as rude at times. It would be helpful if there was a dedicated pick-up place where people can queue in an orderly fashion and get on the bus only when cases have been put on. Not suitable for people with mobility issues or with golf bags.
