Reviewed on 5th January 2025This place used to be great. Not sure if it’s due to the new traffic management due to the works at the airport, but it seems you now have to wait quite a lot longer for each minibus and they are busy, with one or two people at the end of the queue having to wait for the bus to go and return again. A couple with a baby decided to walk in the cold and dark. It was faster than waiting for the minibus, as they were in the airport queue ahead of us. The driver seemed to delight in proceeding extra slowly as he sensed people were in anxious to get there fast. He also seemed to think it ok that one of the front seats was taken up by a friend/partner/colleague? To have someone to chat to on his journeys back and fourth. There is even a new sign on the buses warning customers not to be abusive to staff. This goes without saying and is almost an insult to the huge majority of well behaved customers. It is also very unlikely that an A4 sign like this is going to convince any small minority of unruly customers to improve their behaviour. If there is a shortage of staff I suggest the owners quickly rectify this to save the reputation of their company.

Reviewed on 5th January 2025Very busy car park. Only one minibus running with no system of a queue. People jumping the queue both sides. By the time you put your luggage in the boot, people without luggage had raven all tge seats leaving you to remove your luggage. I will not use this service again. Also very muddy leaving my luggage covered on mud from the van.

Reviewed on 1st January 2025I feel this service is not as good as it was previously. The area was very muddy and therefore unpleasant for shoes and luggage. There was a long wait with a large queue to get the transfer to the airport initially, so we decided to walk instead. The wait for the transfer from the airport back to the car park was not long on our return thankfully. However, I found it incredibly unprofessional that the driver voiced his irritation at customers call for transfers from inside the airport throughout the journey back to us. This may be amusing/off loading for him, but as a company, perhaps they should look at ways to improve the communication with their paying customers rather than complaining at the perceived stupidity of them.

Reviewed on 1st January 2025I’ve parked with Oakwood numerous times in the past, but probably won’t in the future. Phoned the minibus as asked at the drop and go and was told he was a couple of minutes away. Over 10 minutes later we could see a minibus pull up and pull in away from where we dropped off (we were told to wait where we were dropped at). Walked up to bus and there was also quite a few people needing to get on. Driver seemed in a mood. He was sarcastic and quite rude. Telling us that we entitled holiday makers. Also selfish. I don’t think he went down well with the crowd of people on the bus. The area you drop your car off is muddy and uneven, could do with resurfacing. The price is not competitive anymore, so will probably go somewhere else now.

Reviewed on 25th October 2024Staff were dour and on verge of being rude, shuttle bus timeous but filthy and car looked as if it had been a driven at speed through a muddy field with mud splashed up the door. First stop car wash.

Reviewed on 19th October 2024Everything went seamlessly but unfortunately upon pick up at 2am in the rain I failed to notice that my car had been damaged. It looked like it had been reversed into a muddy bank as the exhaust was caked in mud, the bumper was scratched and it looked like someone had tried to clean off the bumper with sandpaper and had scratched the paint quite badly. They were very evasive the next morning when I went back and promised to check the CCTV ( still waiting for news on that but not holding my breath). The drivers seat and inside of the door was also filthy with mud. As you can imagine, not happy at all. If they come clean about it and offer a resolution I'll be happy to upgrade my rating accordingly.
