Friendly bunch, time to get to and from the airport changes a lot based on number of people there. No format in control just a free for all when the bus arrives at the airport, not the fairest on the slowest… Cars are parked in a muddy field, expect your car and shoes to get dirty.

Oakwood Parking is very close to Bristol Airport. Used many times in the past but always a bit of fight for bus to return. On the last occasion driver dropping us off said that we would be picked up opposite site to where we were dropped off. That didn’t happen, bit of a free for all as people waiting in different areas and driver was a bit rude.

All good except we waited half an hour and two phone calls later to be picked up

This is a convenient car park a few minutes from Bristol Airport. The staff are pleasant. The arrival car park area is to the right when you turn in off the road and it tends to get very muddy when it has been raining. The reception office is small and means any more than two people waiting to check in, others have to wait outside. When we returned, as there was only one minibus operating we had to wait a while to actually get on at the second trip. Also held up at the car park waiting for a member of staff to move a vehicle blocking our car in.

Good service on the way out, good location from airport and just a short ride in minibus. However it was a nightmare on the way back. It was 2 in the morning cold and wet, when the mini bus comes to the pick up area it’s a complete free for all and everyone runs to the minibus - we waited over an hour with our 8 month old baby who now has a cold and cough. We weren’t able to get the first 3 minibuses as everyone just pushes past to get on it. I think a registration system would be better in busier periods. Call to say you are there and put people in list order.

Departure was fine apart from reception thinking I was returning from holiday. Airport was busy on our return, 15 minutes wait then seemed to be only 1 minibus running which filled and returned 20 rather than 10 minutes later followed by an empty bus. Keys collected quickly but had to search for car and manoeuvre around a vehicle parked in front of us . Okay but not great.

Good service to and from the airport. However, the parking area was very muddy, consequently the floor mats inside the car were very dirty when we returned. Some money needs to be spent on resurfacing the parking area. We will continue using Oakwood and recommend to friends and family as it is cheaper than other parking options at Bristol Airport.

On returning to Bristol, had to wait for half an hour outside in the cold wind, as when the bus arrived there were too many people to get on, so we had to wait for the next run. The driver apologised and said there was only one bus running but when he returned, two buses turned up! The bus itself was in a state of disrepair but still got us back to base. Luckily the car was close by and easily accessible, as the car park itself was full and double parked in many places. There didn't seem to be any facilities for disabled people, like myself but I was able to struggle on and off the bus with my walking stick.

On my return at 3.30am my car was parked at the back of the rough stoned surface car park completely in the dark. I could only find it by activating the key. It had been parked wing mirror to wing mirror on both sides so I had to try to get in the drivers side by scraping my clothes along my mud splattered car (I hadn't parked it like that!) and squeeze myself into the seat. With cream jeans on I was NOT HAPPY !!
