Reviewed on 14th September 2022Ideal location to Bristol airport. Check in was ok, but return back was awful. Rang as advised when we got to the car park, to be told they had just left the airport but would be back shortly. 25 minutes later and no sign of them we rang again and were told they were just loading up and would be back! By this time there was a long queue waiting and when I said how do you know who was first he said it was first on the bus in no particular order. People were pushing each other trying to get in the bus, even though we had young children and had waited the longest, it didn’t matter.

Reviewed on 13th September 2022Whilst the outward journey was good as 3 buses were being used the return journey was very long as only one driver who was understandably very stressed. Some people decided to walk to car park as was quicker than waiting for the bus.

Reviewed on 13th September 2022For Bristol it's the cheapest car park for sure and extremely close to the airport - so close being a very good thing because we had to walk back to the car this time. Landing on a Sunday they only had one minibus and driver working and the queue to get back was long. The minibuses are old & tired but that really doesn't matter when you're in it for 3 minutes. The staff and drivers are all super friendly and the whole process of booking, arriving, transferring & collecting is simple. The only other thing I've noticed a few times now is they must park the cars in a field down a dusty road as my car was covered in dirt & dust when collected. I'd still book Oakwood every time for Bristol Airport.

Reviewed on 13th September 2022Service upon arrival was great. Car dropped off easily and mini bus waiting for the short journey to airport. Upon our return, we called for the mini bus and when it arrived we realised there was already a large queue. The driver informed us that there was only one bus running and due to traffic each round trip was 25 minutes. Due to the large numbers we would have been waiting for well over an hour to get back to the car. We ended up walking for 20 minutes to get back to the car. 2 of the party were pregnant and the other recovering from an ankle operation so this was far from ideal.

Reviewed on 11th September 2022Efficient, friendly, competitively priced. But transfer bus old and tatty, car park on rough ground so cars will likely get very dirty in bad weather, and whoever moved my car left half a field of mud and grass in my footwell.

Reviewed on 6th September 2022Flew from Bristol using this car park/shuttle service, positives I have to say is booking was easy, service is legitimate & prices are very competitive but you do get what you pay for this is a no frills service with old/tired transfer transits. Main item which I was not pleased about was that I dropped off a shiny only just washed & waxed car but picked up the same car a week later that looked like it had been stored in a barn for 40 years. Think it’s quite normal I was told as a result of where they are stored.

Reviewed on 29th August 2022Mixed review this time I'm afraid. Pleased with the cost and convenience of parking at this place but a few things let it down ... 1. Staff are plain miserable with little effort in providing customer service. General grunts and shrugs were the order of the day when engaging with them both on dropping off and picking up. An example of the poor service was when returning and being first in line at the back of the mini bus we corrected the driver's count of passengers noting that we were a family of 5. His response: "in that case you'll have to wait for me to come back ..." He failed to observe we were first in line and with children. 2. A "not my job" approach. Using the same example, when pointing out that we were first in line he said: "there's two people with small bags who have already got on the bus. It's not my job to patrol who gets on etc." Other than driving and opening the back door it is literally the only job he should be doing as he stands back. Other passengers even helped older people with bags. 3. Following on from the above, having a clear drop off and pick up point with a message for people to queue could solve some of this.

Reviewed on 27th August 2022I was disappointed by the pick up that became a stampede by other families running through us and just chucking their stuff on the mini bus and us being made to wait. No system seems to be in place as in customer names or time of calls to ensure people are picked in order. The bus driver on the way out was grumpy and unfriendly and the young lady on the desk spoke to us like we were an inconvenience.

Reviewed on 23rd August 2022Reasonable experience, have used before as well. Drop off is always good and quick transfer to airport. Only thing that lets it down is collection from arrival back, as no designated area for minibus to stop, so people standing in different areas. Waiting at 3 in the morning, waiting for fourth trip back to parking is not much fun.
