Parking was fine but came back to our car 12 at night to find they moved the car left the interior light on and had a flat battery, but to our amazement they had no jump leads so we had to ring the AA which was not a good end to our holiday .

Our check in was smooth and quick . We got the mini bus to the airport, no problems at all . Unfortunately our return was not as successful. The mini bus arrived 1.30am . We all packed on , standing , squashed in . I picked up my keys, no issues. We were then left to find our car in a large , pitch black carpark / field. We finally found it at the far end parked amongst other cars, front back and both sides so no way out . I walked back to the office , it’s now 2am and chilly, thankfully not raining. I showed them a picture of the car parked in front of us , he located the key for this car and said he’d move it. I went back and waited , he didn’t come. I went back and he had got waylaid . He then sent someone else who did move the other car and we were on our way, 2.30am. On arrival home I noticed the back of my car was absolutely covered in bird poo , inches thick all over rear. It was so dark in their carpark I hadn’t noticed , it had clearly been parked elsewhere for the 5 days, I have no idea how that much poo was possible!!!!!! Overall , below average based on our collection service . I would suggest cars are moved to front of carpark for collection, there were plenty of spaces, in the lit area and not blocked in….And the horrendous poo jet washed off prior to collection as really disgusting.

We have used Oakwood so many times in the past but on this occasion we were disappointed slightly. When we arrived back in the UK it was the early hours of the morning and to arrive at the collection point to find a massive crowd for Oakwood was disheartening. We waited for a bus which we were unable to fit on and the rest of us formed a queue for the next bus, to be told then that only one guy was doing the shuttle run for about 50 more people. When we eventually got picked up and dropped at the car park we collected our keys, not told where our car would be and then to find that our car was blocked in further cars we then had to subsequently wait for another member of staff to move the cars around in order for us to leave. It’s just a shame that they have clearly got too big and lack attention to detail and the good system they use to have.

Going to Bristol Airport was fine, friendly driver help with the cases. Return from the airport driver opened the doors for us to get on with it, ( my husband is 84,) and not a word spoken. Collected my key and asked where it was and was told to just click my key fob in the pitch black, the battery in the fortnight it was parked had gone. After 30 mins of looking a young lad helped me, to whom I was very grateful.

Ideal location to Bristol airport. Check in was ok, but return back was awful. Rang as advised when we got to the car park, to be told they had just left the airport but would be back shortly. 25 minutes later and no sign of them we rang again and were told they were just loading up and would be back! By this time there was a long queue waiting and when I said how do you know who was first he said it was first on the bus in no particular order. People were pushing each other trying to get in the bus, even though we had young children and had waited the longest, it didn’t matter.

Whilst the outward journey was good as 3 buses were being used the return journey was very long as only one driver who was understandably very stressed. Some people decided to walk to car park as was quicker than waiting for the bus.

For Bristol it's the cheapest car park for sure and extremely close to the airport - so close being a very good thing because we had to walk back to the car this time. Landing on a Sunday they only had one minibus and driver working and the queue to get back was long. The minibuses are old & tired but that really doesn't matter when you're in it for 3 minutes. The staff and drivers are all super friendly and the whole process of booking, arriving, transferring & collecting is simple. The only other thing I've noticed a few times now is they must park the cars in a field down a dusty road as my car was covered in dirt & dust when collected. I'd still book Oakwood every time for Bristol Airport.

Service upon arrival was great. Car dropped off easily and mini bus waiting for the short journey to airport. Upon our return, we called for the mini bus and when it arrived we realised there was already a large queue. The driver informed us that there was only one bus running and due to traffic each round trip was 25 minutes. Due to the large numbers we would have been waiting for well over an hour to get back to the car. We ended up walking for 20 minutes to get back to the car. 2 of the party were pregnant and the other recovering from an ankle operation so this was far from ideal.

Efficient, friendly, competitively priced. But transfer bus old and tatty, car park on rough ground so cars will likely get very dirty in bad weather, and whoever moved my car left half a field of mud and grass in my footwell.

Flew from Bristol using this car park/shuttle service, positives I have to say is booking was easy, service is legitimate & prices are very competitive but you do get what you pay for this is a no frills service with old/tired transfer transits. Main item which I was not pleased about was that I dropped off a shiny only just washed & waxed car but picked up the same car a week later that looked like it had been stored in a barn for 40 years. Think it’s quite normal I was told as a result of where they are stored.
