Oakwood Parking Reviews

The car park was a field, you had to leave your key so the car could be moved. Coming back was terrible, all instructions were followed but wHether we missed them or they missed us we were waiting over an hour before we were picked up. We were bought in a white van but were picked up in a yellow van. Cheap but basically, you get what you pay for! !!!!

On arrival at Oakwood driver taking people to the airport was very helpful and professional, unfortunately on my return, although the time waiting for pick up at the airport was short after that it went downhill a bit. At Oakwood was handed my keys and told car would be nearby, had to carry my case up muddy road and found my car completely blocked in by another car, then had to run back down and get pickup driver to remove other car, at 00.30am not happy. Other car should have been moved if owners had been delayed, also my car was muddy on wheels and front doors after being moved further up muddy field that is the car park! On first arrival had seen other cars having mud washed off, obviously didn’t bother doing that with mine. Would never use that car park again.

Not good on return. Our car could not be found, the manager was sent for and eventually found the car after a delay of three quarters of an hour. Not appreciated after a late flight.

Arrived and it was raining and the field where we parked was very muddy? The staff were very helpful though. All in all good price.

close to airport and inexpensive. Travelled out of season but not enough room on 1st minibus when it arrived but was near front of queue. Problem is that when it returned it stopped in a different place and by then many more were waiting so it becomes a race. Driver could quickly hand out numbered cards to prevent those less mobile from being left behind. Won't use again because everyone is tired getting back and arguements over this can start very quickly.

Surprised to find our car was to be parked in a field, which was wet and very muddy !!! Hence when picking up car 2 weeks later it was covered in mud and muddy foot well on drivers side. Not very impressed !!

Drop off went well, on return slight delay finding keys.

Going out the driver was pleasant and helpful. In return myself and others who were waiting. It took ages to get through to the driver and I was very concerned. The driver who eventually answered came quite a while later. The driver who picked up was miserable and not helpful. Obviously didn’t like his job. This isn’t the right approach to paying customers who have just had a pleasant holiday to come back to.

Close to the airport and car was fine. Coming home though we were waiting 30 minutes for bus back and when we arrived at car park it was very dark and had to wonder round looking for our car with all our cases and 2 young children. Not ideal after long night of travel. Couple floodlights would help.
