Reviewed on 18th October 2018Sadly instructions getting to the car park are wrong which meant several calls to talk us in. On returning to collect the car it was parked in so much mud the car was filthy. Only good thing was it was very cheap.

Reviewed on 16th October 2018On arrival there was no one at the entrance to tell us where to park so we assumed we should find a parking place where many other cars were parked. Having found a place, and off loaded our cases, in the dark, we started to walk to the entrance to find somebody. While walking a car drew up and an employee told us that we had to go back to our car, load up, and take the car back to the entrance!! We are both over 70 and would have appreciated some help! On our return from holiday, we telephoned the office to arrange collection, and twenty minutes later a mini bus arrived and although we were second in the que, there was race by 16 people to get on the bus!! There was no organisation whatsoever and 3 people at least we're told to get off the bus with their luggage! The whole thing was a shambles and the driver was the only person working on the transfers!! A very bad experience, never again!

Reviewed on 9th October 2018My low rating is not because of the helpful staff but due to the chaos when arriving back in Bristol. The mini-bus picking us up couldn't take everyone and there was no basis for ensuring a 'first come first served' system. Suggest Oakwood needs to introduce some better way of organising picking up of returns.

Reviewed on 8th October 2018Car was extremly dusty and dirty when we eventually got to pick it up after having to wait ages to get back there from the airport as there was not nearly enough transport supplied for the volume of people it had to pick up.

Reviewed on 24th September 2018The entrance is poorly signed and hard to spot if arriving in the dark. The drop off and collection area is very rough. and has lots of puddles if it is raining. Staff are friendly and the transfer is very quick. On our return our car was blocked in by a car from a delayed earlier flight. We had to go back to the reception to get someone to move it. Probably won't use this one again.

Reviewed on 18th September 2018I have parked here a few times now it’s only about a mile outside the main airport where you get picked up but we was waiting 40 minutes for pick up as there was so many people waiting as there was only 1 bus on duty at peak time on a Saturday day, not good enough after being on a long flight. Last thing you want is waiting for pick up.

Reviewed on 9th September 2018All went well with the drop off and collection. I was very disappointed when I checked the car at home the next morning to find all four wheel arches plastered in mud as if the car had been used for off roading.

Reviewed on 5th September 2018Rang through to inform them I was ready was told about ten minutes wait when mini bus arrived lots of people went running over to it and as I had a little girl with me didn't get there on time. Was told another mini bus would be with us shortly but 15 minutes later the same mini bus turned up so I presume they only have one. There should be a system in place so when you ring up they should take your name and prioritize that way so every one waits their turn.

Reviewed on 4th September 2018We arrived to drop our car off, found a parking space okay then went to a little cabin (which wasn't labelled as being the office we just assumed). We were ignored by one man in there but rather soon another lady came out of the main building and checked us in - she was very nice (perhaps the man hadn't heard us). We then got the bus to the airport, the man driving was very friendly and chatted to us, we were given a number to phone when we got back. When we got back we phoned the number and was told someone would be with us as soon as possible. It was a very long wait however this was not Oakwood parkings fault, the airport itself is designed very poorly. We get back to the parking and are told our keys are in the other bus which is parked up so we wait 5 minutes for them to finish collecting keys from customers about to go. We then ask for our keys and No one seems too sure where they are. Finally the other driver going into a shed at the end of one of the fields and brings out a box of keys. This shed had no lock on so anyone would walk in and take the car keys! If it hadn't been for this I would have given them 4/5 stars but o was horrified that they would leave a box of customer keys in an unlocked shed (which didn't appear to have a door).

Reviewed on 26th August 2018Had to wait in car park, lucky it was not raining. my wife and I both in our 70's driver did not help with suitcases, just opened rear door and walked away, a lady and her young daughter couldn't reach the top of the pile we all had to help her. Not the service I've had in other parks.
