Not impressed! Outward: 1. Couldn't get through to say nearing Oakwood as requested - no name asked for so what was the point. 2. Very grubby vehicle - have you seen how smart the one from The Waggon and Horses is? 3. Driver a bit on miserable side. Inward: 1. Driver arrives and does head count saying not enough room for everyone - gives choice of some waiting behind for his return or him just taking drivers and they return to pick up their own others! What is that all about? Having paid for the service why would we then have to use our own cars? 2. All keys not there so driver had to go and find them. 3. Driver shouted at one woman who took whole envelope when driver held it out to her! 4. Our car was blocked in by another one so had to wait for it to be moved. Only plus was that gentleman who got key and moved other car was very apologetic and polite - it was NOT the driver. So this was our experience and it leads me to say that it was a bit shambolic, the driver was miserable, why bother to make people ring, you need to clean up the existing vehicle and you need to get another vehicle. Sorry, but won't be using you again.

Positves; The drop off point was easy to find and close to the airport. The driver helped us load our bags . The journey to the airport was only a couple of minutes and the driver gave us clear instructions regarding what to do on our return.Nice polite bloke. Negatives; On arrival at car park there isn't a marked reception office, just a piece of paper stuck on a door with a contact number to ring on arrival. The drop off area is a muddy field. On seeing the field and cars parked with mud up the sides did not inspire confidence when the driver told us that the car would be moved to a compound 3-4 miles away. When we handed the car keys over to the driver he placed them in a plastic bag but no receipt was given to us. Another seed of doubt planted. When we returned to Bristol Airport we followed the instructions given and the minibus was already there. However they only seem to have one van which was full so we had to hang around while he took these people to drop them off and return to collect us. When the van returned after about 15 minutes, the driver was very rude and extremely unhelpful. He said- stick your cases in the back and make sure you lay them flat. Absolutely no effort to assist regardless of the ages or abilities of passengers. He then started to speak at all the passengers in a loud voice. Right whos on here? Someone replied Thomas, his attitude was What Thomas and whats your reg number. Lady couldn't remember straight away so he said'I haven't got time for this. NEXT! This attitude continued throughout the short journey to the car park. He was practically shouting at a couple who had returned a day early in a very judgmental attitude. Everyone on the bus was whispering to each other about his appalling manners/attitude. As we pulled in to the parking area he shouted out some brief instructions re where the cars were and stopped dead. He then left everyone to a mad scramble to get their own cases out of the back. The only real plus side Oakwood parking is that it is close to the airport and it's cheap. In summary- only one bus available which is a bit of a shed. Appearance of location is off putting. The attitude of the driver on return was absolutely appalling and unhelpful. Brought us back to earth with a bump after a wonderful holiday.

Second time I've used Oakwood and both times the pick up and return service has been efficient. BUT this time the cars were being moved into an exceptionally muddy field and certainly I would never drive my car through such mud. Yet I paid someone to do just that! Took me more than 2 hours to clean the car properly so that's the last time I use Oakwood unless I hear that conditions have changed.

I left a nice clean car at the bottom car park, on my return a week later my car was covered in mud, under the wheel arches were big clumps of muddy grass. Never again!

Reception at site didn't give me confidence. Told to leave car unlocked. Journey to and from airport was quick but vehicle was a little old and door could not be operated from inside in an emergency. Condition of car on collection was not what I expected. Mud covered wheels and arches and mud splashes on the doors. Little or no security in the field where the cars were collected.

Reasonably quick service but performed in a very grubby minibus and the car was covered in mud when I collected it so not that happy.

When we arrived they had no paperwork for our car so we just had to leave it and trust we would get it back ok. When we arrived home at midnight we got picked up ok but our car wasn't in the area for us to drive it away Although I had given my flight no apparently I had put my return time wrong . The man who had picked us up had to go and get his son out of bed to go and get our car . Ok so it may have been my fault but the way we were treated by the son was atrocious! Because of this our car had not been hosed down after being parked in a field for 10 days ! A very disappointing service . Will not be using it again.

Not happy having to wait in the rain for bus to go back and forth knowing how many passengers you have, its totally incompetent one bus can do it.

Drop off and collection plus location to airport very good. However it was late and dark when we collected the car and it wasn't until the next morning we discovered that both sides of the car and tyres were covered in mud and the interior on the drivers side was no better. The vehicle had clearly been parked in a muddy environment somewhere and no care had been taken by staff getting in and out of the vehicle with their muddy feet when moving the vehicle.

I use Oakwood frequently and would normally give them 4 stars but this time was different. On return I phoned them from the terminal, the driver said to come to the pick up point immediately which I did only to see them driving away. I then waited half an hour for them to return, when they did so the driver gave out the keys to the cars before leaving the airport but did not have mine. The driver then immediately informed me in a fairly unpleasant manner, that there would be a £15 charge for booking the wrong return day, which I hadn't. When we got back to their pick up point my car was there and the driver found my key in the building. There was no apology for their mistake. As I say this is disappointing as I have previously had good service from Oakwood.
