Reviewed on 25th October 2017Where do I start !! Eventually arrived at Oakwood in the the early hours of Sunday morning from a long drive from Newcastle. A bit difficult to find, nearly missed as not very well sign posted. Drove on to a bit of muddy ground, no office, just a grumpy man asking details. Got on a old yellow van and waited for more people to come, other people were ringing the man for pick ups at the airport, he was a bit abrupt asking them there names ( this information is relevant later ). At the airport, people were waiting to be picked up, the man asked their names, in order to see who would get picked up 1st as there were too many people to get on the van. On our return we duly rang the number to let the man know we had arrived at the parking bay as told and have our name as told. We waited at least an hour, if not more, when the van arrived there was a scramble to get on. The man said there were too many people to get on, I said did he not book people in order of who rang 1st !!! like the man said when we arrived, he made an excuse that some people didn't give their name (yeah right !!). So he said we can do this the easy way or the hard way !!! drivers a get on, and the drive their own cars back to the airport and pick up their own suit cases and partners on their return. The traffic in and around the airport was horrendous, and nobody was going to do that, so he said please yourself, sort it out your self !! and left to get in the driving seat. As you can imagine it was chaos, everybody clambering to get in with heavy cases, absolutely awful. It was totally unacceptable the way Oakwood Parking operate. Hope this review will help you when choosing who to use for your parking as it is normally 1st class.

Reviewed on 17th October 2017Very awful service. Once I picked my car on my way return, I found it extremely dirty with mud everywhere (upholstery, pedals etc...) I can send you some pictures as evidences. The person was really aggressive also when I picked the car. The van pulled in to the airport, but some random people entered in prior to us, so we had to wait 15 minutes at the airport for the van come in again as there was no room for us. I am expecting some kind of compensation for this poor service. Regards, Bruno

Reviewed on 16th October 2017I arrived back at the car park to find my car absolutely filthy! Someone had been using a pressure washer around the property and all the mud had splashed over the car. It took 2 car washes to finally get it clean. Also another car had been parked in front of mine which meant a long wait until the bus driver returned with the keys for it to be moved. I feel there is no respect for the vehicles left with them and will not be using them again

Reviewed on 14th October 2017Driver friendly, worst car park, muddy field, no office, no lights to find your car when you get back. They move your car a mile away somewhere ? As we had 2 miles on our gauge. Would not recommend, or use again .... may be cheaper but pay a bit more and park somewhere safer.

Reviewed on 26th September 2017It was parked in a muddy field that a tractor had driven thru to get cars out by the look of it and our car was going to be cleaned before we got it back. Well it was filthy inside and out ! There was mud all up in the wheel arches and the mats were covered in mud ! The man that picked us up was very short on the phone and in person. He needs a course in people skills. My partner said he wouldn’t be using this car park ever again.

Reviewed on 19th September 2017After arriving in heavy rain at 4am in the morning we had no shelter and nobody around to help. Only 1 mini bus to shuttle passengers and had to wait in our car for the bus to return. We were wet arriving at the airport. Good start to the holidays. On return the bus was overcrowded and many cars in the car park including ours were full of mud as most cars were in a muddy field which we did not see on arrival due to it being dark. Silver zone for us next time.

Reviewed on 12th September 2017Confusing at arrival, however return journey was awful, waited 40 minutes to be picked up after two phone calls by a very rude driver, who gave us all the impression he really didn't want to be doing this. We even had to open and close the van doors for him, even after dropping us off in the pitch black with a your cars are around here somewhere.not funny for a group of 3 children and 4 adults. I have used park and go many times before and booked again in December, thankfully not with Oakwood who I will never use again. I will now have to start looking around for other alternatives of parking after this, it really was a bad service.

Reviewed on 10th September 2017Parking in a field, transfer driver with a face as long as last week. No help in getting my case in the minibus despite my obvious mobility issue and use of walking stick. Transport to the airport was a dilapidated ex school minibus. On viewing our cam footage our car was moved to another site (field). This we were not informed of. Although the price was reasonable I will be paying the extra next time and going back to Siverline. Impressed... not in your wildest dreams, a lot to be desired which could be addressed if they really thought about it.

Reviewed on 1st September 2017I was very disappointed in my experience with Oakwood parking. They only use one minibus to transport people to and from the airport which means people are queuing when you arrive and delayed in getting to the departures. On return the mobile phone I was given and the land line I was told to call were both switched off! I was stranded at Bristol airport with 3 children in the rain not knowing what to do or how to get to my car. I walked to the drop off area and an hour after I landed a minibus turned up but hordes of people rushed towards it as they had been waiting 2 hours. Again they used one 11 seat minibus when multiple flights were arriving. It was a horrid end to our holiday and I would like a refund.
